Casa de Silva really started with own puppy adoption journey. I wanted a French bulldog for so long but I understood that they were a huge investment. I researched for years before finally bringing a puppy home. I talked to many breeders and I was appalled at how some treated me. I was brushed off, some breeders were very rude, and some didn't even respond to my inquiry. I was really disheartened and thought about giving up our search. I invested so much time speaking to breeder after breeder and it was really exhausting. One day, we finally found a puppy, I exchanged text msgs back and forth for days and I finally put a deposit down. I saw videos of our puppy and received tons of pictures. We were supposed to pick up our puppy on my son's birthday. When I messaged our breeder about specifics for that day, something seemed off. They didn't answer my txts, my calls and I couldn't get ahold of them period. It was then that I realized that I had been scammed. I thought how horrible to do this especially on a childs' birthday. At this point, I almost gave up. We had already spoken to over 10 breeders and I just felt that a frenchie was not in our future. A few weeks later, I saw a instagram post about a sweet little fawn frenchie looking for a home. I didn't think we would get far with this inquiry but I was wrong. The breeder answered my call right away, answered all my questions, directed me to her website and sent me the contract to review. She also arranged transportation and went over frenchie maintenance and screened us to see how  she could support us while we transition our new puppy to her new home. I thought, yes! Finally! Three days later we received our beautiful baby hand delivered to my job. After further research I realized that frenchies are notorious for health problems and were being bred with all kinds of defects. I knew we could do better. I reached out to my breeder and told her about my interest in starting a breeding program. She sent me tons of information and agreed to work with me and allowed me  full rights. My vision for my program is produce HEALTHY companions with the correct structure. I aligned myself with the AKC (the gold standard of canine registration) and started doing the recommended genetic health tests. For my puppies, I knew I wanted more than beautiful dogs with gorgeous colored colors. I introduced ENS (early neurological stimulation) and ESI (early scent introduction) to our first litter of puppies. I thought about what I wanted from my puppy when we first got her and started working with her first litter of puppies to achieve the same. Now we are starting to provide a full curriculum to our puppies using the Badass Breeder program. I also evaluate our puppies at 6 weeks to ensure we are matching up our puppies' personalities with the correct family. My program has become a family passion and everyone in our family contributes to raising happy and compliant frenchies. We continue to educate ourselves on how to better the French bulldog breed. We have now expanded our program to offer more to the community such as our K9 reproduction clinic, flight nanny services, and extended stay boarding and training program. I then started looking into programs on how to train my dogs to be great companions. We are huge advocates of training your companion and we even have a reward program for our families that complete the AKC STAR PUPPY program.

To say that we adore our French bulldogs is an understatement. Our frenchies are not just our pets, they are our family. Their goofy personalities and affectionate nature make them so easy to love. We fell in love with this breed because they make such a great addition to our family and they are so great with kids small and big alike. 

They bring so much happiness to our lives and we want to share that happiness with you. Each of our puppies are raised by hand, loved and cared for the second they come into this world.  All of our dogs live inside our home or with a guardian family. We pour our heart  and soul into each and every one of our puppies. Our puppies make great companions because they are well socialized and very affectionate. They are a part of everything we do and we couldn't imagine our lives without them in it!
